Aurelia Theme

Style rooms, search, booking and customer surfaces

Apply Aurelia presentation to Rooms, Search Availability, Room Detail, Book Now, confirmation and customer pages without moving business authority into the theme.

Use Aurelia as a presentation layer across the complete guest journey. Rooms and Search Availability should expose clear filters, dates, guest counts and room media. Room Detail should prioritize the gallery, title, occupancy, features, price and Book Now action. Book Now and Booking Confirmation should retain every Core field, error, payment step and saved snapshot while the theme controls spacing, typography and responsive grouping.

Surface rules

  • Keep canonical links and form actions supplied by Hotel Booking. Never derive a booking URL from a title, post ID or a theme option.
  • Render optional Pro sections only when their public capability and content are present. An absent Pro module must collapse without an empty shell.
  • Preserve payment status, tax lines, policy acknowledgements, review forms and customer notices exactly as supplied by their public view models.
  • Use the documented .hb-* CSS roots and public hooks before requesting a versioned template override.
  • Test one free-only journey and one Pro-enriched journey at 320, 768 and 1440 pixels, including validation errors and a confirmation with a saved snapshot.

The theme can change markup and visual order only where the public contract allows it. Availability, pricing, tax, payment, booking, cancellation and customer ownership remain plugin decisions.

Next: configure Customizer images, links and focal points.
