Aurelia Theme

Configure Customizer images, links and focal points

Set responsive imagery, focal points and localized action URLs in Aurelia without cropping important subjects or creating theme-owned routes.

Aurelia’s Customizer is presentation-owned. Use it to select Hero, introduction, room and offer images, choose a focal point and enter action labels and URLs. Images should be art-directed for the subject rather than forced into one desktop crop. The theme can select a tablet or mobile asset, but it must not rewrite the route returned by Hotel Booking or a language provider.

Configure a section

  1. Open Appearance → Customize → Aurelia and choose the relevant section.
  2. Upload an optimized image with a descriptive media title and set Desktop, Tablet and Mobile images when the composition needs different crops.
  3. Set the focal point to keep the face, horizon or architectural subject in view. Preview at 320, 768, 1024 and 1440 pixels and confirm object-position does not crop the action or room context.
  4. Enter a localized Primary action URL and Secondary action URL for each language. Use /vi/search-availability/, /vi/rooms/ or the public URL helper output; never use http://rooms/ or a generated host.
  5. Save, clear only the relevant cache and recheck keyboard focus, alt text and no-JavaScript links.

Keep copy short enough to avoid overflow and use object-fit: cover only when the focal point protects the subject. If a source image is too small, replace the asset instead of hiding its crop with CSS.

Next: verify accessibility, motion and no-JavaScript behavior.
