Hotel Booking presents the channel that created or blocked an inventory record. Use the label before taking an operational action. A normal website booking is owned by Hotel Booking. A Booking.com or Agoda API reservation remains a booking record imported by the existing API module. An iCal event is a read-only external calendar block with limited guest information.

Open Hotel Booking → Bookings or the Pro Booking Calendar and inspect the source badge and read-only notice. An external block cannot be confirmed, cancelled, paid, refunded or emailed like a customer booking. Perform those actions on the source OTA.
Keep API and iCal sources separate. Do not import the same reservation through both methods, because duplicate channel blocks can make inventory appear more restricted than it is. If a label is missing or contradictory, preserve the record, note the booking code or source ID and report the redacted timeline.
