Hotel Booking Free sends the core booking confirmation email. Hotel Booking Pro can add PDF invoices and additional email automation. Both must reflect the booking’s saved language, currency, tax and payment snapshot rather than live room content.
Verify a confirmation email
- Complete a controlled test booking with a dedicated test address.
- Open the confirmation and record its booking code.
- Open the received email and compare guest-safe room, dates, total, payment state and balance with the confirmation.
- Confirm the email language matches the booking language when a multilingual provider is active.
Do not forward an email containing a real guest’s contact details to a test mailbox. Use synthetic fixtures for regression.
Verify a Pro invoice
- With Pro entitlement active, open the customer’s booking detail.
- Use the configured invoice action or customer surface.
- Confirm the PDF declares the booking language and currency and lists room, service, discount, tax, total and settled payment lines consistently.
- Store or send it through the hotel’s approved privacy channel.
Existing email bodies and invoice rows are snapshots. A later translation or room-price edit must not rewrite historical output. If delivery or rendering fails, keep the booking unchanged, inspect the redacted error and retry through the supported queue or support path.
