Getting Started

System requirements and compatibility

Verify WordPress, PHP, HTTPS, dependency and backup requirements before installing the Product 1.0 release set.

Confirm the environment before uploading any package. The accepted Product 1.0 release candidate supports the requirements below.

Required platform

Component Minimum Accepted release evidence
WordPress 6.5 Tested through 7.1
PHP 8.1 Tested with 8.2.33
Hotel Booking Free 3.28.0-rc.7 for the accepted pair Required by Pro 1.36.0-rc.7
Hotel Booking Pro 1.36.0-rc.7 Optional add-on
Aurelia 1.1.0-rc.8 Optional theme

Use HTTPS on a production site, especially when activating a license, accepting online payments or sending customer details. A browser warning on a local-only development hostname is not permission to operate a public site without HTTPS.

WordPress access

The installer needs an Administrator account with permission to upload plugins and themes. The web server also needs enough storage to unpack each ZIP beside the installed copy during an update.

Dependency rules

  • Hotel Booking Free can run by itself.
  • Hotel Booking Pro requires the hotel-booking plugin and must be installed after Free.
  • Aurelia supports WordPress without Pro, but Hotel Booking Free is required for its booking surfaces.
  • Do not mix an accepted package with an unverified older or newer dependency.

Operational prerequisites

Before an update or rollback, create both a database backup and a copy of the current plugin and theme directories. Confirm that the backups can be read and identify who can restore them.

Persistent object cache, full-page cache and PHP bytecode cache can serve stale code after replacement. Plan to flush the applicable caches and reload PHP workers, then verify the site with a real HTTP request.

Verify

Open Tools → Site Health → Info and record the WordPress and PHP versions. Open Plugins and Appearance → Themes to record the installed package versions. Continue only when the version pair and minimum platform match this reference.
