The Hotel Booking Pro Customer Dashboard gives guests a secure self-service area for registration, sign-in, booking details, account information, and supported cancellation workflows. Test every dashboard page while signed out and while signed in as a customer.
Prepare the customer area
- Confirm that Hotel Booking Free Core and Hotel Booking Pro are active.
- Open the Hotel Booking customer or page settings.
- Assign the required login, registration, password reset, and dashboard pages.
- Add the pages to an appropriate account or booking menu.
- Exclude authenticated dashboard pages from full-page caching.
Guest registration and sign-in
Guests can create an account using the configured registration page and sign in through the customer login page. The email address should identify the customer consistently across bookings. Test welcome messages, password reset emails, invalid login handling, and redirect behavior after authentication.
Booking self-service
- View current and past reservations.
- Review stay dates, room details, guest information, services, payment status, and totals.
- Open the detailed booking view when additional information is required.
- Use cancellation or refund requests only when the property policy and booking status allow them.
Privacy and security
Each customer must see only their own account and bookings. Use HTTPS, strong passwords, secure password-reset emails, and current WordPress security updates. Do not cache personalized dashboard responses. Review customer access after changing roles, account emails, or booking ownership.
Recommended test
Create a new test customer, complete a test booking, sign out, sign back in, review the booking, request a password reset, and verify the cancellation workflow. Repeat the test on mobile and desktop before sharing the dashboard with customers.
